Working Farm

Barton Vineyards encompasses 500 acres (200 hectares) and lies to the west of the Cape's Hottentots Holland mountain range. The area is famous for its fruit farms, the Walker Bay vineyards, flower and vegetable farms.

The farm has nectarine and plum orchards, along with olive groves and lavender fields, from which we produce our wines, olive oil and essential oil products under the Barton label.

Vistas from the holiday villas encompasses our olive groves, vineyards, lavender, pockets of planted proteas, sea views and the majestic Kogelberg mountains.

Visitors are welcome to use the farm for walking, cycling, picnics, birdwatching and fly-fishing.
