Barton, in South Africa’s Western Cape province, is located off the R43 road leading to Hermanus.
Lying at the foot of the Hottentots Holland mountain range in the Botriver valley, it borders the Kogelberg National Eco Park on the one side and looks across the valley to the Bablionsberg mountains on the other.
It is just one hour’s drive from Cape Town International Airport and twenty minutes from Hermanus and the beaches of the South Atlantic ocean.

Barton Vineyards encompasses 500 acres (200 hectares) and lies to the west of the Cape’s Hottentots Holland mountain range. The area is famous for its fruit farms, the Walker Bay vineyards, flower and vegetable farms.
The farm has nectarine and plum orchards, along with olive groves and lavender fields, from which we produce our wines, olive oil , essential oil products and honey under the Barton label.

Vistas from the holiday villas encompasses our olive groves, vineyards, lavender, pockets of planted proteas, sea views and the majestic Kogelberg mountains.
Visitors are welcome to use the farm for walking, cycling, picnics and bird watching.

Barton’s logo is that of the threatened Blue Crane. Two families breed on the farm. Barton makes a contribution to The Overberg Blue Crane Group (OCG)with every bottle sold. |
